We encourage members to give generously and regularly. We do this out of thanksgiving for God’s generosity towards us. It is an expression of our contentment and a blessing to others.
For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sake he became poor, so that you through his poverty might become rich. 2 Corinthians 8:9
Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. 2 Corinthians 9:7
Your giving pays for the work that is done at The Oaks Anglican Church in line with our mission to GROW in love of God, SHOW love to others and SHARE the good news of Jesus. The major expense items include staffing, maintenance of the facilities, resources and the support of our mission partners around the world.
There are two primary ways to give:
(1) In person on Sundays. A locked box labelled ‘Offertory’ is located at the back of the hall for cash and an electronic card reader is available for cashless giving.
(2) Direct debit. This is our preferred option for managing risk and facilitating thoughtful, regular giving. The account details are:
