Junior Jivers – Monday mornings
Kids’ Church – Sunday mornings
During our 10am Sunday service we provide age appropriate Bible teaching through a Kids’ Church program. Children of all ages are welcome in the service at all times and there is also a Parents’ Room available with toys and books for those too young or not ready for Acorns. The service begins all together in the hall with children moving off after a time into three different groups:
Acorns is a group for kids aged around 1-4 years old. Leaders focus on engaging with the children with a variety of play activities which will include reading stories from an age appropriate Bible.
Sprouts is our group for pre school to grade 4. The teaching here is aimed at helping our children understand why we need a saviour, and how Jesus is the saviour who can transform our hearts so we can be part of God’s family.
Shrubs is where our older kids dig further into God’s word, sharing their own insights and asking questions. Kids in this program will gain a deeper understanding of what Jesus has done for us on the cross and how we might live in response.
Shrubs is aimed at children in grades 4-7 at school.
